About our Short Courses
Code for South Africa offers short courses in data-driven storytelling for newsrooms, full-time and freelance journalists, activists, and people working in non-profit and non-governmental organisations.
We also offer data-driven storytelling training for people working in the public and private sectors who need to communicate information in an effective and easy-to-understand way.
While we have a fixed course schedule in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, ad-hoc courses are available to suit your requirements.
The short courses range from 1 to 3 days in duration and cover different aspects of data-journalism. This will equip participants with the necessary skills to deliver compelling data-driven multimedia stories. Participants will receive a certificate of completion based on participation.
